How to Generate Reports

Overview #

Here is the explanation to generate customised reports according to the requirement.

Step 1: Access the Reports #

From the Client’s Dashboard, click on the Accounting tab and select Reports.

Step 2: Select the Elements to Include in the Report #

There are fourteen elements available for report generation. Apart from the Cover Page and Index, you can select one or multiple elements based on your reporting requirements.

Cover Page: A customised cover page displaying the client’s name, accounting period, and details of the Preparer, Reviewer, and Partner for the job.
Index: Displays the list of all elements included in the generated report.
General Notes: Shows the notes created during the course of your work.
Profit and Loss: Displays the Profit and Loss statement.
Balance Sheet: Displays the Balance Sheet statement.
Trial Balance: Displays the Trial Balance for the selected period.
Journals: Shows the list of journals recorded during the working period.
Reclassification Journals: Displays the list of journals reclassified during the period.
Balance Sheet Lead Schedules: Shows the lead schedule details related to Balance Sheet accounts.
Profit and Loss Lead Schedules: Shows the lead schedule details related to Profit and Loss accounts.
Average Number of Employees: Displays the average number of employees for the period on a month-wise basis.
List of Attachments: Provides a list of all attachments linked to journals, control accounts, and lead schedules.
Final Pack: Displays the list of files uploaded as the final draft in the system.

Step 3: Select the File Type #

Based on your requirement, you can generate the report in PDF or Excel format by clicking the respective button located at the bottom right corner.

Step 4: Generate the Report #

If you select PDF, the report will open in a new tab, where you can download it using the Download button.
If you select Excel, the report will begin downloading in the background, and the system will redirect you to a new tab so you can continue working.
