Benefits

Anyone can promise this. We will show you the receipts.

A benefit is easy to write and hard to prove. So we have attached the evidence to ours: each claim, the feature that delivers it, and a real figure from a real file. Open any of them, follow it through to the feature, and check the number yourself.

457transactions in one client year, on one screen
5views of every single transaction, kept forever
6tabs on every control account, nothing filed elsewhere
92permission switches, for each person in your firm
0numbers the AI has ever invented

that last one is the only number that really matters.

Six claims, six receipts

Every benefit, and the feature that has to earn it.

A benefit with no mechanism behind it is a wish. Open the proof on any card and you will get the actual feature, the actual figure, and a link so you can go and pull it apart yourself.

The same product, four jobs

A partner and a junior want completely different things.

A partner, a reviewer, a preparer and a client are doing four different jobs, and they need four different things from the same file. Pick the person, and see what actually changes for them.

The line we will not cross

One thing we will never claim.

There is a version of this product that posts its own journals, clears its own review points and signs its own checklists. It would demo beautifully. We have chosen not to build it, and we are not going to pretend otherwise to make the AI sound cleverer than it is.

the name at the bottom of the accounts is yours. so is the decision.

The AI does not replace the reviewer.

It does the first pass, and it is good at the pass a tired human does badly at five in the afternoon. It reads every transaction, groups them, and raises what looks wrong.

Then it stops. It cannot post a journal, it cannot clear its own review points, and it cannot sign a checklist. The judgement is still yours, the sign-off is still yours, and the name against it is still yours.

It suggests. You decide. It never invents a number.

The basics, briefly

And everything you would simply expect.

These matter, and Papercare does all of them properly. But they are the floor rather than the reason to move, so we will state them plainly and get out of your way.

Cloud based

Any device, anywhere, with daily backups and encryption at rest.

Works with your bookkeeping

Import from what you already run. No migration project.

Paperless

Nothing gets printed. Good for the file, and for the planet.

Customised reports

Build the report your client actually asks for.

Not priced per user

Add the whole team, including the seasonal ones.

Built for accountants

By accountants, so the words on screen are the words you already use.

Do not take the benefit. Take the file.

Bring a real trial balance, ideally an awkward one, and test every claim on this page against it. That is worth more than anything we could write here.
